When I first began reading blogs, Karla’s Cottage was one of the first ones I discovered.  And, when our paths crossed at the first Silver Bella I attended, I think I scared her a bit when I exclaimed that I was more excited to meet her than Angelina Jolie!  To me, she was a celebrity and the best kind of celebrity at that…

So over the past three years, I have continued to enjoy Karla’s blog and have participated in several of her tag swaps.  Upon learning from her during our time together in Betz White’s Felted Rosette class at last November’s Silver Bella that she was contemplating hosting an art retreat, I immediately said, “Count me in!!”

Guess I don’t need to tell you how excited I am to be a guest in Karla’s home and get a glimpse into her studio.  Hopefully, I’ll be able to play it a bit “cooler” this time and not be a totally goofy fan during the two day event…
